Joan Vogelesang is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Toon Boom, Canada. She has also opened and developed new markets in China, India, Africa, South America and the Middle East resulting in thousands of studios and jobs creation throughout the years. Under her leadership, Toon Boom continues to maintain its position as a world leader in animation technology. Ms. Vogelesang is regularly invited as a guest speaker at international animation events. These include Asia Animation Conference, ChangZhou Animation Festival, HangZhou Animation Festival, eLearning Africa, FRAMES and NASSCOM Animation India. In 2009, Ms. Vogelesang was elected as Animation Mentor of the Year by Animation Magazine. In 2004, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry honored her with the Life Time Achievement Award for promoting the Indian Animation Sector on the global map. In 2001, she was also nominated as one of the Top 25 Women in Animation by Animation Magazine. Ms. Vogelesang would play an important role as a member on the Advisory Board for Aniguru and under her leadership Toon Boom and Aniguru will continue to maintain its position as a world leader in animation technology.
Dikran has over 25 years experience in handling sales, distribution, and general management at Apple Canada where for the last eight years he was the National Sales Director for the Education Markets and in on the board of Toon Boom as a Chief Education Consultant. Dikran successfully led two divisions at Apple in turnaround mandates generating substantial growth and gains in market share. He has vast knowledge in direct and indirect channels. His areas of expertise are in complex sales strategies; new product/service introductions and sales force management. He is well known for his leadership and mentoring skills as well as his ability to create performance cultures throughout organizations. Dikran plays a major role with Aniguru in its marketing initiatives and would help in building strategies for overall educational development.
